International Sustainability Experts Discuss Climate Change with Audiences Worldwide
Monthly Webcast will Highlight Environmental and Sustainable Discussion by Panel of Experts-
Earthscan, publisher of books on environmental and sustainable development issues, has announced its newest live interactive webcast featuring global sustainability experts – dubbed Earthcast. Starting August 19th, 2009, the company will offer a free one hour webcast on a different topic which will stream to your computer each month. The webcast will give a worldwide audience the unique chance to learn and interact with experienced specialists in a wide range of fields with one main topic in focus: sustainability. The audio will be complimented by illustrative slides, covering heavy topics such as climate change, natural resource management, the built environment, energy, and sustainable business. The first discussion to be broadcast is labeled Carbon Markets and Climate Change Mitigation, which will stream on Wednesday, August 19th, 2009 at 9am Pacific Daylight Time/12pm Eastern Daylight Time. During this presentation, the authors of Carbon Markets and Voluntary Carbon Markets will discuss the efficiency of market based mechanisms in helping to moderate climate change. The second Earthcast is entitled Sustainable Business Process and Implementation, to be broadcast at the end of September 2009.
